Our little church meets for prayer every other Wednesday with a meal and time of fellowship following. This is what I made to share last night (thinking of the Round Up, of course!) and it was well received. Lots of positive comments!
16 slices bread
8 slices ham
8 slices turkey
8 slices cheddar cheese
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
6 eggs beaten
1/4 cup dehydrated minced onion
2 cups cornflake crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
Spray lasagna sized casserole dish with cooking spray. Make a layer in the bottom of the dish with 8 slices of bread. Top each slice with one slice ham, turkey and cheese. Cover with remaining 8 slices of bread.
Mix milk, dry mustard and eggs. Pour over sandwiches and chill eight hours or more.
Sprinkle with dehydrated onion. Mix melted butter and cornflakes and spread on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes.
