I totally agree with Elle that re-entry after vacation is a beast! And this time, its been the hardest ever for me. Maybe its part of the getting older thing. That's another ugly animal but don't worry. I won't go into all that now.
Really, I just want to say that I think I'm finally back! I thought I was almost here on Saturday but had a bit of a setback Sunday and yesterday. But now...its going to be okay. The yard is about where it would have been had we not left for a week. Notice, I didn't say it was all up to snuff but when is that ever going to happen? Same thing with the house. Anyway, I'm feeling good this afternoon. I can handle the undone aspects of life at the cottage now.

Glad you're 'back'!
It is hard to get back to the routine after a relaxing vacation. We always come home to the start of a new school year, so I am forced to jump in with both feet.
Boy do I understand the re-entry syndrome and it is harder as we get older. I'll be in the midst of one of those next week as I head back to Seattle for 6 week visit. Yikes....
It's just plain difficult for me to even COME back after a vacation! :) So I know what you mean...hope the rest of your week goes smoothly. Glad to know you have a nice vacation. :)
Oh, how well I know the older thing. Kim is lucky she can still jump in with both feet. I have to step with one, then the other. Older is slower. Am I whining?
Glad you've re-entered!
Hey! Found you from John's blog at While we Sojourn. I have been right where it appears you are with alot of worry and concern about some things. I just got through reading CJ Mahaney's book "Humility: True Greatness" and in one of the chapters he takes you through the book of Habbakuk and introduces a "divine perspective" on trials and suffering. It was such a blessing and encouragement to me. I would love to send you my notes in an email! If you are interested, just email me at:
