Project Blue: Take Three

I just got back from a morning walk during which I saw these lovely blue flowers in a neighbor's yard. I don't know what they are but I love the delicate perfection of them.

We have a plant in Florida similar to that called plumbago. They get to be quite large bushes. I love the flowers on them.

Wow! Those really are lovely. Nice picture of them too. I just love google... I googled "pale blue flowers" and came up with this: http://www.sd1new.net/GardenPages/cape_plumbago.htm so I think beverly is right. You photo is much nicer than theirs.

The flowers definitely look like Plumbago, check out my blog today, I did a macro of an individual plumbago flower. The bush in your photo looks tiny though.

Never heard of plumbago, but they certainly are "sweet little blue blossoms," as Ellen B. described them.

I love the whole idea of Project Blue and I was amazed at how many people are participating at Anna Carson's site. This is a great pic!

Have fun in Wisconsin!

The colour is very similar to a plumbago but it looks more like a phlox to me! Nevertheless it's very pretty and a lovely choice for PB :)
