Spring Changes

Almost overnight, it went from this:

to this:

Yes, its that most unpredictable of seasons...Spring. The one we may long for the most but its hide and seek game can be oh, so frustrating! For now, we've got about six inches on the ground in Crystal Lake, IL and its still snowing. Its that wet, dense stuff that clings to everything and is so lovely from the windows but backbreaking to shovel. Thank God for snowblowers! And for the promise of 45 degrees and sun tomorrow!

Our poor little snow blower had a hard time cutting through it, but oh! isn't it pretty? I don't mind so much since it will soon be gone. . .

What did Charlie do? The girls were very fast with their outside duties this morning. You should have seen Ivy's face. She looked out the front door and turned around to look at me, incredulous.

Charlie couldn't wait to get out and roll in it! It was like he completely forgot that he's a canine senior citizen!

You should try to get a video of him doing that!! Do you have video on your camera?

Oh my goodness! Of course I remember the year it snowed in Wheaton in April and for the first time in its history my company (Scripture Press) closed for a snow day. I hope you won't get snow in April...

May you have sun and warm temperatures tomorrow!

Yes, I do have video on my camera, Kim, and I should get one of Charlie rolling! Maybe tomorrow.

Willow, we are all hoping we don't get snow in April too! But we did get some sunshine and warmer than expected temps this afternoon so we're not complaining!
