We've had hoar frost a couple times in the last week or so, including today. It is very enchanting - almost surreal! We don't get it here that often as it is usually too cold. We are enjoying a mild (for us) spell with daytime temps up around -7 Celsius or 19 Fahrenheit.
Today is the first day since last week that I didn't wake up to it. I miss the fairy tale look of the world.
It really looks like great inspiration for a poem or story...
