A Month of Thankfulness: Day Twenty-Two

Others have said it, but today is my turn to say how thankful I am for good, solid exegetical preaching! And the Lord's Supper!

Visit Rebecca to see what others are thanking our Good God for this Lord's Day.

  1. I was going to post the same thanksgiving for today! I think I still will! Do you mind? It was an excellent sermon--I'm still thinking of it even now!

  2. Our sermon was on the Biblical purposes of marriage--exhorting, convicting & reassuring to know the truth of God's Word is food to our spirits. Thanking God with you for preachers that teach His Word & not their own.

  3. Of course I don't mind, Kim! There can never be too much thanksgiving for good, solid preaching!

And, Elle, its good to having you standing firmly in our camp too!

  4. I would agree that exegetical preaching is the best! I've been enjoying your daily updates, trying to visit every few days as my schedule allows. Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. Yes, I am thankful for good preaching too. The lessons we receive at my church are almost always straight from scripture, and it is a blessing I shouldn't take for granted.

I'm praying for all to go well with you tomorrow as you begin the process for your scan!
